Have you ever been in a situation where someone you loved was suffering, and there was nothing you could do? Maybe you were isolated and couldn’t be there with them. You felt helpless and afraid. Now imagine a calming and hopeful Voice that would bridge the gap between you and your loved one – to Bring Peace in a time full of turmoil.

This exact situation happened to Alex*, an intern with a Reach Beyond partner in a part of the world where sharing the Gospel can be dangerous. Alex’s mother was in critical condition and desperately needed to reach a hospital. Alex was miles away, unable to help as his family waited hours for an ambulance to arrive.

Feeling helpless, Alex reached out to the staff at the Reach Beyond partner station. They were able to connect him with two doctors who are avid listeners.

The doctors were able to provide medical consultation to Alex’s family, as well as provide detailed information to the hospital and ambulance teams. Most importantly, they were able to pray, and offer Alex and his family the hope that comes from knowing Christ.
