Ministry Database Manager
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Position: Ministry Database Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
DATABASE OVERSIGHT
- Act as the primary lead for the donor database including data entry procedures, database management, and donations processing.
- Operate multiple financial and donor management software platforms, including but not limited to Studio Enterprise, Site Stacker, Paperless Transactions, and Mailchimp.
- Create database queries, reports, and mailing lists to facilitate the needs of various communication, marketing, mobilization, and development strategies.
- Collaborate with the Creative Services department regarding donor communications and prepare mailing lists for direct mail and e-blast campaigns.
- Establish and maintain accurate source codes to track and report on ROI analysis for all appeal initiatives.
- Work closely with the Finance and IT departments to facilitate accurate integration of other departmental activities and systems and to ensure integrity of database.
- Coordinate with the finance office to track the status of all projects, discontinue recurring donations when projects close, and make changes in Studio Enterprise accordingly.
- Maintain accurate constituent records by updating contact information, payment methods, and other account details.
- Maintain a healthy and clean database by importing NCOA files and updating Mailchimp data in the database.
- Implement moves management tracking and donor communication processes. Document communication records between donors and Reach Beyond staff members.
- Create and maintain workflows in Studio Enterprise. Provide pertinent information to staff as needed.
- Handle CRM software questions and concerns
- Provide training to key staff when needed to ensure organization-wide procedures, expectations, and understandings around the database
RECEIPTING OVERSIGHT
- Process incoming mail, review and scan checks, and make deposits to the bank
- Oversee the receipting process
- Generate and mail quarterly statements and impact reports
- Manage paper stock for receipts, letters, quarterly statements, and year-end statements.
DONOR SERVICES
- Manage incoming communications and provide excellent customer service
FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Manage and monitor budget and expenses for Development projects
- Prepare documentation for annual financial audits
- Adhere to PCI compliance, IRS regulations, and organizational policies when processing financial information and donor transactions
- Maintain strict confidentiality of donor information
- Follow department’s Record Retention and Destruction Policy
- Support Development team functions through ongoing and special projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience of working with a development database
- 2 - 3 years experience in customer service
- Perform as a team player and able to work independently
- High level of accuracy while remaining efficient and organized
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Word and Excel)

Director of Church & Donor Partnerships
Position Summary: The Director of Church & Donor Partnerships strengthens Reach Beyond’s ministry by cultivating purposeful, trust-based relationships with churches, pastors, donors, and mission-minded individuals. Serving as a storyteller, encourager, and connector, this role invites the Body of Christ to join in God’s mission to reach those with little or no access to the Gospel.
Working closely with the Mobilization and Development teams, this person helps raise up new workers, strengthen church partnerships, and resource strategic ministry initiatives—always with a posture of discernment, prayer, and long-term stewardship.

What This Role Does (Core Responsibilities)
1. Church Partnership Development
This role serves as a relational bridge between Reach Beyond, churches, and missionaries.
The Director:
- Maintains strong relationships with existing partner churches and develops 2–4 new church partnerships annually
- Shares the vision of Reach Beyond, helping churches understand and engage with the needs of the unreached
- Equips churches with resources that support missionaries and foster long-term, healthy partnerships
- Collaborates closely with missionaries as they engage their sending and supporting churches
2. Donor Ministry & Stewardship
This role views donor relationships as ministry and discipleship, not transactions.
The Director:
- Manages relationships with approximately 12 key donor accounts
- Walks alongside donors with discernment—guiding them through education, cultivation, solicitation, and appreciation
- Communicates clearly about ministry priorities, impact opportunities, and project funding goals
- Maintains accurate, timely records in the donor management system to ensure thoughtful follow-up and accountability
3. Representation & Engagement
This role serves as a public voice and relational presence for Reach Beyond.
The Director:
- Represents Reach Beyond at 3–5 regional or national events annually, with intentional follow-up for every connection
- Communicates the story of God’s work in Reach Beyond through stage presentations, small groups, and media opportunities
- Participates fully in staff meetings, chapels, retreats, and organizational prayer rhythms
4. Reporting, Collaboration & Administration
This role balances relational ministry with faithful stewardship and teamwork.
The Director:
- Provides quarterly written reports tracking progress toward mobilization and development goals
- Works closely with the Mobilization and Development Directors to align efforts and communicate organizational priorities
- Upholds organizational policies and maintains healthy, proactive communication across teams

Mobilizer
Position Summary: As a mobilizer, you will seek, guide, and inspire potential candidates to envision God’s heart for the unreached. Through mentoring and building meaningful relationships, you will empower candidates to discern their unique place in God’s global mission.

Essential Functions
Spiritual Leadership:
- Commit to praying to the Lord of the Harvest for workers.
- Share stories of God’s work through Reach Beyond, inspiring others to join the mission.
- Encourage spiritual growth by mentoring individuals in understanding God’s love and heart for the unreached.
Candidate Engagement:
- Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates to help them explore their calling.
- Join or lead international short-term mission teams, providing hands-on exposure to mission work.
- Maintain detailed records of communications with candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Recruitment Strategies:
- Collaborate with partner churches and universities to identify and mentor candidates called to serve internationally.
- Participate in developing and implementing strategies to recruit candidates for specific mission needs and audiences.
- Contribute to digital strategies and tools that expand recruitment reach.
- Create and refine recruitment resources, materials, and tools.
Team Collaboration:
- Participate actively in Reach Beyond mobilizer meetings.
- Work closely with the mobilization team to assess candidate readiness for service and identify placement opportunities.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Passion for missions and a deep commitment to encouraging others to engage in global outreach.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build meaningful connections.
- Knowledge of the Biblical basis for cross-cultural missions, both in principle and practice.
- Proven ability to navigate conflict effectively and with empathy.
- Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to resource oneself.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
- Prior experience in recruitment or similar roles.
- Prior experience in serving in missions.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, nonprofit management, human resources, intercultural studies, or theology
