Are you Ready for Your Life to Change?

October 10, 2016

What sets our internship apart from the rest? Like Leslie Knope of Parks and Rec, I like my acronyms:

A - Adventure

C - Culture

T - Training

Adventure

What college student doesn't love an adventure? However you define it, we can broaden it.  The initial adventure of any internship is that "out of the house" freedom high.  You first experience this when you arrive on campus as a freshman, bright eyed, bushy tailed and on your own.

Only this time, you get to kick it up a notch.  You have a job (albeit for little or no pay); bigger responsibilities where people rely on you, and real work that doesn't just get graded, handed back, and then thrown away.

But what about joining our adventure in Romania?

With us you don't just manage someone else's schedule, you work with a team of other interns to manage a real radio station. With us, you don't just sit behind a desk all day; you sit at a sound or switchboard and produce music and shows to be aired.  With us, you don't just make another Christian program; you creatively construct a story that engages a nonbeliever with the Bible, or even just moves them a step closer to caring.

Part of the adventure lies in the unknown.  How will you engage a non-believing audience with a unique story?  What digital medium do you want to test and learn to master next? How will you use media to evangelize?

We believe that everything digital can be used as an effective tool for ministry. And that's what we teach: practical evangelism while on the field and how to identify and adapt the best tool to use wherever you are.

Culture

In the same family tree as adventure sits culture. What better way to learn how to minister to another culture than by immersing yourself in it? Learning to cope in a new culture is a continuous learning experience; you're just never quite fluent. But learning to adapt, be flexible, and try new things are each part of the foundation of interacting with different cultures.  You'll learn more about each of these things while working with us, all in Eastern Europe.

Training

The ultimate reason for an internship is, of course, the experience from training.  Our training takes place in state-of-the-art facilities, with an international team of industry professionals.  With our individual expertise ranging from traditional radio, to video and content creation for business professionals, to social media experts, you’re bound to learn something new and come away with a newfound love for media and missions.
