Medical Missions in Action

January 23, 2017
We often talk about being the hands of Jesus but what does that look like?  Reach Beyond serves in almost every area of the world to provide care for those who need physical healing, but being the hands of Jesus is more than just about healing people's physical bodies, it's also an opportunity to tell people about the love of Jesus.

We are honored to serve the poor and those who need phsical healing. For that reason we want to show you their precious faces.  Today we highlight the work being done in Latin America.

Psalm 140:12 says, "I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and will execute justice for the needy."

A little boy in Ecuador.

We assist families to receive proper medication.

Dental care is part of the services we provide to villagers in Ecuador.

Prayer is a huge part of our ministry. We often get the opportunity to pray with our patients.

Often we will visit a patient in their home, if their condition is serious.

We also do medical work within the Quichua communities in Ecuador.

Some of our hands work is done in clinics.  That way we can treat the needs of those in the community.

If today's pictures have touched your heart consider giving a gift to our Hands ministry.  Be the Hands of Jesus to communites around the world who need your help.
