Allen has been with Reach Beyond since 1992, originally serving in Ecuador as a producer in the English Language Service, then directing National Radio and later the International Radio teams.

In 2004, Allen became a part of the Radio Development area doing training in Latin America, Sub-Sahara Africa and Asia Pacific. He also served as a professor in Reach Beyond's former Christian Center of Communications and as an adjunct professor of Mass Communications at the African Bible College University in Liberia.

For several years, he led one of our regional teams involved in various aspects of broadcasting, digital media and community development in a number of creative access countries.

In late 2020, he returned to Ecuador where he serves as director of Radio HCJB2 in Guayaquil, as well as a member of Reach Beyond’s team of Global Media Trainers.

His passion is to empower and train local believers to use similar skills to impact their communities for Christ.
