Nearly 10 years after her first mission trip, DeNise surrendered to serving God in full-time ministry. She has worked in a variety of positions since she first began with Reach Beyond in 2004. Her experience as a radiologic technologist and her education in Healthcare Administration served her well as she worked as a medical missionary in Shell, Ecuador for several years.

DeNise moved to Quito in 2010 to begin a new assignment as human resources liaison between Hospital Vozandes Quito and Hospital Vozandes del Oriente before accepting the role of director of missionary personnel in 2011. In 2020, her role expanded to include national employees of Voz y Manos – Ecuador, an Ecuadorian foundation. This has been a very fulfilling role as she walks alongside other missionaries, caring for them so they may continue to be effective in their own ministries.
