After graduating from seminary, Don & Dolores became missionaries with Reach Beyond in 1974, serving in: Quito, Ecuador from 1974-1980; Guayaquil, Ecuador from 1980-1985; Quito, Ecuador from 1985-1991 and Brownsville, Texas from 1991 to present. 

Don is the Radio Engineer for KBNR, FM 88.3, an all-Spanish Christian radio station in Brownsville, TX which broadcasts the Gospel to both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Don has worked primarily in radio technology but God has presented many opportunities for a discipleship ministry along the way:  as the Youth Pastor and Pulpit Supply Coordinator at a church in San Rafael, Ecuador (suburb of Quito); with two Ecuadorian engineers in Guayaquil; with several technically oriented men in Brownsville, Texas.

Dolores helps with accounting procedures at KBNR and has worked primarily in a secretarial capacity with Reach Beyond. But God has also presented many opportunities for ministry apart from those of raising our two girls.  After being the primary care-giver for Don's aging parents until they went home to glory, she began developing a quilting ministry by organizing a group of ladies in Brownsville.

Don & Dolores' daughters, Katrina and Kristen, are both teachers at Christian schools.  They both enjoy mission trips and are very active in their local churches.
