“My name is Mai*, I’m 24 years old and from Cairo. I came across your web page by accident, and the kindness I was shown there touched my heart deeply.
I had always felt unworthy of love and care, but they treated me with respect and compassion, something I wasn’t used to.
Despite my offensive behavior, they responded with love, which drew me in. This led me to ask questions about the Christian faith.
I was amazed to learn that followers of Christ don’t worship three gods or believe the Virgin Mary is God’s wife. They explained the incarnation through the miraculous birth of Jesus, and shared about the cross, salvation, and the resurrection.
Eventually, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
Now, as part of a discipleship group, I am studying God’s word and getting to know Jesus more every day.” •
“Peace be upon you through the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We at Radio Hope* would like to express our praise and gratitude to God Almighty, who has brought us together with wonderful friends and service partners like Reach Beyond. For me personally, and on behalf of our entire radio team, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the help and support that has been given to our ministry.>
Reach Beyond’s assistance in setting up towers, grounding, transmitters, as well as procuring power sources and air conditioning has been very meaningful and has greatly improved the quality of our broadcasts. This has not only been a form of technical support but also a tangible sign of the genuine care, love, and service spirit of our colleagues at Reach Beyond.
For us, your help has been an answer to prayer—proof that God never neglects to maintain His work, no matter how small and simple it may seem in the eyes of the world. We believe, as written in 1 Corinthians 15:58, ‘Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.’
The other day, I was pondering in my heart, and I asked God, ‘Why is there an international organization that is willing to care and help us? We are just a small radio station.’ However, as God often does, He answers not with a loud voice, but with simple, yet meaningful journeys and encounters. In the silence and reflection, I was convinced that Radio Hope is not just a local station. God consecrated this radio ministry to be a means of preaching the gospel — good news that touches souls thirsting for hope and true love.
God uses Reach Beyond as a channel of His love to show that this service is not a wasted work, and it never goes unnoticed. We therefore believe that it is not only us who are serving, but God Himself who is working through all of us.
May the love and goodness of God that we have felt through the presence and support of Reach Beyond be multiplied by Him. We pray that you will continue to be given strength, anointing, and peace in every step of ministry. As written in 2 Corinthians 9:8, ‘And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.’
Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. May this cooperation continue to be a blessing to many people, and God’s name is glorified through each of our ministries.” •
“My name is Marija, and I live in Serbia.
For months, I watched your TV programs without realizing that God was already changing my heart. I felt drawn to the testimonies I heard and filled with a quiet joy, even though I did not yet understand what was happening inside me. I longed to contact you, and when I finally could, I knew I had to share what God had done.
A few years ago, I was overwhelmed by despair and anxiety. One morning, as I was taking my little daughter to kindergarten for the first time—she has Down syndrome—I felt crushed by fear. I wondered how others would see her and whether she would be accepted. While driving, I pulled over to the side of the road, unable to go on.
Through tears, I cried out, ‘Jesus, come into my life. I cannot do this alone anymore. I have tried everything, but I don’t know how. You see everything and know everything. Let Your way be my way, and Your will my will.’
In that moment, a peace filled my heart—unlike anything I had ever known.
As a child, I had experienced deep wounds that I never knew how to heal. But now love came—real love, impossible to describe—embracing me completely. With it came a certainty that everything would be all right. All my life, I had searched for truth in many places: meditation, books, and various spiritual teachings. Looking back, I believe God Himself protected me, even preventing certain dark literature from ever reaching me. Then I began having dreams from the book of Revelation. Bible verses came into my mind, even though I did not own a Bible. At night, God would wake me and lead me into prayer.
After my conversion, I felt an urgent desire to tell others that healing exists, that no one is alone, and that God truly loves and saves. For nearly six weeks, I cried—tears of joy and also of repentance.
Today, I walk with Jesus. Since coming to know Him, so many miracles have happened that I could never tell them all.
Through your programs, God planted a seed in my heart. It grew and bore fruit. My children watched with me, and within a year, my daughter also gave her life to Christ.
I thank God for all of you. Through this ministry, He led me from darkness into light.” •
“Wearily, she arrived at our clinic hoping to find treatment for her headaches and high blood pressure. She had tried other clinics, but it was always the same: take some pills—buy this product—spend more money—repeat. Our clinic was an hour away, but she had heardfrom one of her friends, a woman with a dramatic recovery from depression, that there was healing in this place—that they had something new to offer.
When Anya* came to see our local physician, she found more than a prescription. She found kindness, empathy, and our locally-staffed team, who were willing to listen and care for more than just her blood pressure. After her appointment, she sat with our support team, drinking tea and discussing what makes a good life. Thirty minutes soon turned into two hours, and she needed to get back to her waitressing job. Seizing the opportunity to show further care and continue the conversation, our project leader offered to drive her in his car, and two ladies from our team went with them.
As they drove slowly through construction and rain, our counselor shared the Good News that true life is found in Jesus, the God-man who has healed the brokenness in the world and is working to make all things new. In the midst of relentless traffic, Anya decided this relationship was exactly what she needed in her life.
Anya now meets regularly with one of our local staff and is beginning to attend church. She is introducing Jesus to her daughter and her family. And she is joyful again, serving at a small café with new hope and a bright smile.”•
TOGO - “Both communities are so very happy and grateful for the wells, which have opened previously hesitant hearts to the Gospel. In one village, a man and two women gave their lives to Christ immediately after the inauguration of the wells. Since then, four women and five young men have decided to follow Jesus. In the other village, three women have begun attending church. Now, a neighboring community has requested our help in establishing a church in their area. They have already provided land for the construction of a simple structure so they too can begin worship services.
WEST AFRICA* - “We baptized 19 new believers last month and we already have 20 more people who are preparing to be baptized. Thanks be to God for using the clean water from this well to open the hearts of this community to the Good News of Jesus—the One who is our source of living water!”
LIBERIA - “We have planted more than 20 churches. Radio is a real powerful tool in reaching the unreached for Christ. Muslims are turning to Christ all because of radio. Again, we say thank you for partnering with us.” •
