The caller was breathless as he tried to express his thanks. Obviously emotional, he was hoping to explain an amazing series of events. The words came fast.

He had been away from home for a long time ? much too long. Then he found the house empty, abandoned by his wife and family. His world was shattered. When desperation had turned to total despair, he felt like he had no recourse but to take his own life.

At wits' end, he jumped into his car and took off driving erratically. On the highway he found himself scanning through the stations on his radio dial. Suddenly he was riveted by a song and the words, "nunca te dejaré," which means "I will never leave you." It was sung by Art Aguilera.

"I will not forget you," the lyrics continued. "I know your problems. I know your situation. Recognize that I am your God. I give you all my love, so do not be discouraged. I am your God. I have everything under control."

Realizing these were God's words directed to him, he pulled off the road and poured his exhausted heart out to God. When his sobbing and the song ended, he heard the program was coming from Radio Cadena Manantial (RCM).

He thought, "I know I've heard or seen that name somewhere!" He reached into the glove box and pulled out a packet that he had stuffed in there just a week earlier.

You see, that's when this man had walked into a church in his area and had been given an envelope. In the upper left-hand corner of the envelope were the words, Radio Cadena Manantial. He now excitedly looked through the items in the packet and found the station's telephone number. The packet included an assortment of items, including a New Testament and a tract explaining how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

He called immediately, and staff member Josefina Ríos from RCM in Pharr, Texas, answered the telephone. He thanked the Lord and the ministry for this incredibly appropriate musical message that got through to him at a most crucial moment, committing his life to the Lord.

RCM is the Spanish satellite service of the World Radio Network (WRN), one of HCJB Global's cooperating ministries with a series of FM stations along the U.S.-Mexico border and beyond.
