Miriam has a heart for the unreached and underreached people groups of the Amazon River Basin. Her background as a nurse opens many doors to express Christ's love.

For about 30 years she has been training village health workers to meet the needs of their own people. She has been invited by the Terena Church Association to be part of the team at the Cannon Training Center in Brazil to help with health education and discipleship. Her desire is to see Christian Indigenous missionaries effectively reaching out to others who have not heard of Christ in a way that they can understand. Christ taught, preached and healed and she wants these missionaries to follow Christs example in reaching out to others by addressing their physical needs and sharing the good news of the Gospel.

Reach Beyond is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that adheres to ECFA standards and accepts gifts subject to donor designations.
