We’re looking for an outreach-centered person who loves bringing Christ to the least reached peoples of Asia through mass media.  A servant heart and teachable spirit to participate in the AP regional team responsible to the Asia Pacific Regional Director.  They must be willing to live and work in Indonesia to provide media training, content and mentoring in collaboration with an experienced Indonesian team member.   Our Indonesian colleague and the media Coordinator will collaboratively identify opportunities for training across partner organizations, and explore potential new partnerships. They will collaboratively develop project resources, implement radio training and mentor both in person and online, and report on initiatives, outcomes and stories of interest to Reach Beyond’s communications and ministry development staff. In the spaces between training, the Coordinator will work with our colleague’s local media outlet to develop strategies for social media or streaming radio campaigns and content: testing materials produced for uptake and response from followers, and using this information to design new outreach approaches.

Do you have: 

• A servant heart and teachable spirit?
• Willingness to live and work in Indonesia for at least 2-3 years, learning basic language and collaborating with national partners and our local trainer?
• Willingness to be involved in wider AP regional team initiatives, including meetings, prayer time, hosting short-term volunteers, and other events?
• A passion for media of all types?
• Ability to navigate a creative project from beginning to end?
• Willingness to learn new tools (including AI and other software) to develop new content and concepts?
• Ability to explain concepts and concrete skills in a simple and engaging way, to help others understand?
• Flexibility, servant leadership, humility, grit, and a sense of humor?
• Sensitivity to communicate and work in Asian contexts?
• The readiness and capability to go to the missions field within 18 months, including time to raise your missionary support and/or be self-funded?
