Social Media Technical Support: The Ephraim Project

Are you gifted with multi-media skills and want to use these skills to reach people for Jesus?

Are you excited about using technology in a creative way in your ministry?

Do you have a passion for outreach to the Middle East?

Are you teachable and flexible, a team player willing to pursue team goals?

The Ephraim Project is a social media outreach. One aspect is in partnership with national believers who are using an overt Christian message in their native language. The content they develop is for people seeking to learn about Christianity where they engage in spiritual conversations, receive counseling, and discipleship. The second aspect of the project uses English conversation to build relationships. Through these English social media groups, members whose interest is to improve their English find friendships, and seeds of the Gospel are planted.

As the Social Media Support person, you will use digital content from original and open-source materials to create fresh and exciting visual and audio media that will encourage English learner participation in daily discussion topics, special events and our social media groups. You would also help our national partners with any technical questions they might have.

The Social Media Technical Support responsibilities include:
  • Creation of content for social media channels.
  • Staying current of online security practices and research ongoing changes.
  • Participating in the English social media groups.
  • Recruiting and training volunteers for the English groups.
Requirements include:
  • Proficiency in media creation software for images, videos and audio.
  • Comfortable with digital file transfers, uploading to various web sites.
  • Some knowledge of online security practices and willingness to learn about ongoing changes.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • A passion for disciple-making among unreached people from various worldviews.
  • The desire and ability to live and work from the regional office in Spain.
  • A commitment to serving long-term in this position.
  • Raise your support and/or be self-funded.

We are looking for two people to join for the Ephraim Project: a Social Media Technical Support person and an Assistant Project Administrator. And if you see yourself as a partial fit for both positions, we would love to talk to you about how God could use you in this project.

All candidates must be able to sign the Reach Beyond Statement of Faith
