Mission HCJB and HCJB2 continue to carry on legacy radio ministries in Ecuador that were originally begun by Reach Beyond as Radio Station HCJB in 1931. Reach Beyond continues to partner with these two strategic ministries by loaning missionary staff who serve under local Ecuadorian leadership.

Mission HCJB - a fully independent and Ecuadorian-led media ministry that operates HCJB Radio – an FM station in Quito with several FM repeater stations throughout Ecuador. They also use digital platforms to create and share relevant Christian audio and video-based content and directly engage with their Spanish-speaking audience of more than 2.5 million people in Ecuador and beyond. HCJB2 - a fully independent and Ecuadorian-led Christian FM radio station in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The ministry is focused on reaching Ecuador’s largest city, coastal areas, and southern Ecuador with Christian content using both traditional radio and social media channels.
