Do you have:

• Experience in engineering (electrical preferred)
• A desire to work in media broadcasting
• The ability and desire to live and work overseas
• Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
• A willingness to work with local partners on a multi-cultural team
• Imagination to see and exploit opportunities that may arise
• The ability and desire to go to the field now (within 1 year), including time to raise your missionary support and/or be self-funded
• A willingness to learn the local language (Spanish)

We are looking for an engineer to participate in the design, selection, development and/or installation of broadcast or other media equipment and systems for the HCJB radio station in Quito, Ecuador. Join our team at HCJB and be a part of engaging and equipping Latin American listeners with the truths of the gospel and mobilizing the Ecuadorian church in missionary work.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering
• At least two years of experience preferred
• High proficiency in using computer programs especially related to mass media and basic office use
• Proficiency in computer programming and software engineering, especially embedded systems is a plus.
• Ministry experience through a church or other like-minded mission agency is a plus
