Share English is a ministry to those who want to learn English. This ministry helps learners who already have a basic understanding of English to develop valuable language skills that will empower them in everyday life. For some it will help them into employment and education, for others, it will relieve isolation. In-person and virtual English conversation clubs are welcoming places to learn about different cultures, challenge perceptions, discuss faith, and develop diverse friendships. Additionally, many English Language learners engage with our social media content on a regular basis. This creates opportunities to engage with people to build relationships, share ideas, and open the door for conversations about faith.

Share English Team Ministry Leader responsibilities include:

• Oversee the entire project -- both the Production and Conversation Clubs
• Ensures timely program production including communicating with staff and freelance writers and producers
• Creates and manages production systems including setting Share English program schedule and updating Learners’ website
• Oversees editing process to ensure overall quality control of Share English content, audio and video programs
• Responds as appropriate to listeners’ comments on social media
• Develops and maintains partnerships with likeminded organizations

Requirements include:

• Passionate about reaching those who don’t know Jesus and encouraging people to be involved through Share English
• Excellent people skills with an ability to network, inspire others, and demonstrate enthusiasm
• Able to work in an autonomous environment with a high degree of responsibility
• Demonstrates experience working with audio and video production and editing
• Willing to travel to promote Share English at churches, conferences, and exhibitions as needed
• Demonstrates experience and success in project development
• The readiness and capability to go to the missions field within 1 year, including time to raise your missionary support and/or be self-funded.
