Club Leaders Say

Listen to what Club Leaders say about Share English

AUDIO SCRIPT

It's a great way to build relationships with people.

It encourages people to speak and listen and gain confidence in English.

Clubs allow me opportunities to share the love of God with others.

It challenges the young people to think for themselves, to think out of the box, and it imaginatively brings Father’s kingdom values into reality rather than vague ideas. We share together His values, heart, and insight in a natural, non-churchy or religious manner.

Share English is removing the fear and pressure of evangelism for believers and gently, genuinely, and lovingly showing learners that the good news is relevant, life-changing and good.

It enables natural friendships to develop with people.

It helps people listen to and become aware of the wider world rather than the narrow somewhat spoon-fed doctrines that swirl around culture here.

I feel like a counsellor, mentor, and trusted friend. I enjoy it. I hope that I am sowing a seed.

The topics relate to what happening around us. As a local leader, I have great resources to take club members into deeper relationship.

They allow us the only face-to-face time we get with the students outside of the classroom, and the topics allow us to educate as well as share hope when appropriate.

They help us connect with the community in a meaningful way and help us to offer something that many in the community desire - to practice their English.

I feel like this is a calling from God for me to serve people and to show the loving and serving spirit of Jesus. This is a very good tool to bring people a step nearer to God.
