Come join HCJB Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador to guide us in financial management of our radio and media ministry.  You will provide financial reports, analysis of financial data, ideas on maximizing use of assets and generating donation and other income, annual budget creation, budget analysis with ministry departments, and solid financial controls.

We would like to fill a full-time position, but if that is not possible, we would appreciate extra help at critical times of the year like October and November when budgets are being prepared, early December when we have our fundraising event, or January through April when our previous fiscal year is being wrapped up and our audit is happening. Additionally, these are great times to get out of the north and visit the equator.

The job will interface closely with the Ecuadorian CPA we contract, and with our missionary and employee supervisors who manage budgets for their areas. Teamwork is important so a working knowledge of Spanish is required. Language school is available for fulltime missionaries before starting the role. This position does require support-raising and/or self-funding.

Travel to, and living in Ecuador are not necessarily required, as much of the work can be done remotely over video conference, but we do encourage living in Ecuador to get to know our people and operations more closely. It is a beautiful country and worth getting to know.
